Announcement of Tokyo showroom opening
In January 2022, we opened our showroom in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
The chocolates made in the showroom are sold at the chocolate confectionery brand "Mele de Chocolat" next door.

A machinery factory involved in food for 100 years
The time now where people call it the satiation period has become harder to determine customer's food perspective and also made us start to question the sufficiency of connecting the mind and food by taste and not just tasting the food by itself. Since Tanizawa started to sell rice confectionery machine in 1916, the company has started as the Tanizawa that makes use of the taste in the machines. We have started producing chocolates, mochi, Japanese snacks, rice snacks, and many other food production machineries to the world. Tanizawa has been most thoughtful in the making of the most delicious snack foods in our longest company history. Questions such as "How can we make it better to have the rice fragrance come out as the max for making dango's material?" Tanizawa had answered this question by creating a new method called the round grain recipe.
"Will these materials be able to keep the textures and still bring out the best of the chocolate fragrance?" Tanizawa answered this question by thinking outside the box.
Tanizawa has been thinking about what the most delicious types of food and had been working on manufacturing foods. We are certain that we need good materials, professional skills, detailed creativity, and familiarity of the mechanism are the keys to produce the most delicious food. In conclusion, the Tanizawa is able to celebrate its 100th years. As candy manufacturing and comprehensive company, we have gone beyond the food manufacturing frame and can also provide software that has been cultivated by delicious quest.
